NMCN Releases Midwifery Professional Exams Results March 2025

This is to inform candidates that the Coordinating Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare has approved the release of results of the Professional Examination in Midwifery March 2025.

Summary of the results indicated that Ten thousand, nine hundred and forty-eight (10,948) candidates were successful representing 85% overall average pass rate.

Below are the breakdown of the results:

1. Post Basic Midwifery: Four thousand, two hundred and fifty (4,250) candidates were successful, representing 95% pass.

2. i. Basic Midwifery: Five thousand, four hundred and thirty-two (5,432) candidates were successful, representing 78% pass.

ii. Basic Midwifery (Refresher): Thirteen (13) candidates were successful,
representing 72% pass.

3. Community Midwifery: One thousand, two hundred and fifty-three (1,253)
candidates were successful, representing 84% pass.

• Head of Nursing Training Institution are to check the results of their respective institutions online from Monday 17th, March, 2025.

 

• Successful candidates should visit NMCN Portal at portal.nmcn.gov.ng to apply for online registration and licencing.

• The next Midwifery Professional Examination will hold from Tuesday 9th to Friday 12th September, 2025.
