Abia State Teachers Recruitment List of Candidates for CBT 2025

The Applicants and the General public is hereby informed that the list of qualified candidates shortlisted for the Abia State 2025 Teachers Recruitment Computer Based Test has been released.

After the completion of the online submission of application process, a total of 29,797 applications were received, out of which 9,331 candidates met the requisite criteria specified in the recruitment advertisement.

Candidates who successful applied are advised to check their SMS and Email notifications for the shortlist message from Wednesday 26th February, 2025.

Also,, they can log in to the recruitment portal (www.mobse -abiastategov.ng) to check their status.

Examination Details:

1. Candidates who applied with NCE qualifications will be posted to Primary Schools and wil be tested on the following subjects:

• English Studies
• Mathematics
• General Studies (including National Values, CRS, History, Igbo Language, Pre-vocational Studies, Basic Science and Technology, and Creative and Cultural Arts).

 

2. Candidates who applied with Degree qualifications will be posted to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools and will be tested on the followings:

• English Studies/Language
• Mathematics
• Their subject area of specialization
• One elective subject

 

UPDATE

CBT Exams Schedule:

• The CBT Exams has been re-scheduled to hold on the 18th and 19th March, 2025.

 

Important Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates:

1. Candidates Must print out their CBT Exams Photo Cards 48 hours (2 days) before the exam day.

2. The photo card will contain applicant’s CBT Center, Exams Batch and time.

3. After the exams, cut off marks will be pegged based on the exams performances and candidates who meet the the required marks will be invited for oral interview.

4. Candidates who are successful in the interview stage will proceed to Certificate and Credentials Verification process.

 

NOTE: Any candidate with inconsistent records may be disqualified from the recruitment and replaced with next best-ranked candidate.
